While at Global Pet Expo, join us for a bus tour of 3-4 local retail outlets designed to help you become acquainted with in-store merchandising strategies. Our on-board moderator will guide you through each stop, answering questions and offering insights about the U.S. marketplace, channel trends, and tips for success. The tour includes a continental breakfast, market briefing, and bus transportation. Registration opens in fall 2018.

Food Export USA Programs
Food Export USA is comprised of several non-profit state regional trade groups that help small- and medium-sized companies explore exporting. Activities are funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service. APPA has partnered with the agency to provide our U.S. members with information on how to access services that support international trade.

The Market Builder Program assists U.S. exporters looking to launch their product in international markets, find new distributors or importers, and receive valuable feedback about their product. The program has two components:
Market Scan: uses in-market representatives to provide in-depth research including a distribution analysis, competitive product shopping, importation analysis, distribution referrals, and target importer profiles.
Rep Finder: an in-market representative facilitates direct meetings between your company and a select group of targeted importers. Includes distributor referrals and a target importer list.
